Investcorp’s India Real Estate team invests in domestic real estate projects located in the seven largest cities in the country. Investcorp have been involved with approximately 30 projects to date comprising of almost 22 million sq. ft. of development and 267,000 sq. ft. of education infrastructure properties in India.

We have an established history in the senior structured credit business, with a focus on mid-market and affordable residential developments. We are active financiers in all our projects, driving execution through intensive asset management practices. Our strengths come from our experience in end-to-end life cycle management of debt and equity investments in real estate projects and assets across India.

Our approach is to establish a robust investing framework with predefined parameters for project, market and development partner evaluation. The focus is on building a high-quality portfolio and following it up with rigorous hands-on post-investment management.

Currently we are managing two Alternative Investment Funds, with a combined value of US $215 million and ~$30 million of real estate education infrastructure properties operated by leading school operators. We are further building on our existing franchise by seeking to establish a direct lending initiative and we will continue to explore additional opportunities across asset platforms to enhance value creation.
