Clare Colhoun most recently served as CEO of Ubisense, one of Investcorp’s portfolio companies. Clare led the business post carve-out from an AIM listed company, achieving “leader” status in Gartner Magic Quadrant. Prior to Ubisense, Clare was a founding investor in and CEO of 8over8 Ltd., a privately held software company. 8over8 developed software solutions to manage risk in large capital projects. Under Clare’s leadership, the 8over8 team scaled the business across international markets to a leadership position and a successful exit of business via a trade sale to AVEVA. Clare’s early career was in strategy and business development in the emerging mobile telecoms market, involving several international joint ventures. Clare is an active participant in and recent Board Member of Catalyst, the not-for-profit organisation that is spearheading entrepreneurial growth across Northern Ireland.

Clare, a qualified ACCA Accountant, holds an MBA from London Business School, and has an undergraduate degree in Accounting & Finance from Dublin City University.
