The Board of Directors of Kentrox, Inc., an industry leader for automated network maintenance, management and control solutions for mobile service providers and large business enterprises, announced today that it has appointed Richard S. Cremona as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. He also has joined the Kentrox Board of Directors.

Cremona, a 20-year telecommunications industry veteran has held executive positions with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Sprint and, most recently, Openwave.  His extensive professional background includes leadership roles in Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Technical Support, Operations, Human Resources and International Business Development.

The Board of Directors also announced today that it has appointed Charlie Vogt as Chairman of the Board.  Vogt has been affiliated with Kentrox as a board member for the past 18 months and is the current President and CEO of GENBAND, a market leading Media Gateway and Application solutions provider.

Over the past 12 months, Kentrox has made two significant strategic acquisitions – Applied Innovation Inc. and the Optima assets from DAX Technologies Corp. – that allow the company to address the complex and growing needs of service providers around the world.  Today, Kentrox has major facilities in the Portland, Oregon, Columbus, Ohio and New York metropolitan areas.

“We are excited to bring Rich on board, as he brings to Kentrox a wealth of senior executive experience that will be invaluable as the company continues to execute its growth initiatives,” said Anand Radhakrishnan, a member of the Board of Directors of Kentrox, and a Principal at Investcorp Technology Partners, the majority shareholder of Kentrox.  “We believe our recent acquisitions enable Kentrox to create a compelling solution for service providers in the area of management and control of their infrastructure.”
