Investcorp, a leading global alternative investment firm, has launched the Nemir Kirdar Global Internship Program, named in honor of Nemir Kirdar who founded Investcorp in 1982 and is often regarded as a “father of private equity”.
The internship is a 10-week program aimed at providing university students across the U.S., Europe, the G.C.C. and Asia with a thorough, well-rounded practical experience and learning opportunities across Investcorp’s product lines.
Nineteen university students will take part in this year’s program across our offices in New York, Bahrain, Mumbai, Singapore and Beijing, where they will intern with Investcorp’s different lines of businesses, including Private Equity, Credit Management, Financial Management, Business Support, Legal & Compliance and Corporate and Investment Accounting.

The Nemir Kirdar Global Internship Program is expected to continue in future years and is part of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives at Investcorp. Investcorp will ensure that interns selected to join the Nemir Kirdar Global Internship Program come from diverse backgrounds to complement our current DEI workforce.
