Investcorp S.A. (“Investcorp” or the “Company”) today announced the successful close of a US$550 million syndicated term financing, comprising conventional and Islamic tranches (together, the “Facilities”).
The transaction was initially launched at US$400 million and attracted strong support from both existing relationship banks and new lenders. Due to significant oversubscription, commitments exceeded the initial target, enabling the Facilities to be upsized to a total amount of US$550 million.
The Facilities comprise senior unsecured financing. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including supporting the Company’s ongoing business activities and refinancing existing debt.
Abbas Rizvi, Chief Financial Officer at Investcorp, commented: “The successful completion of this financing demonstrates the continued confidence of the international banking community in Investcorp’s diversified business model, financial strength and long-term growth strategy. We are delighted with the strong support received from both existing and new lending partners, which further diversifies our funding sources and enhances our financial flexibility as we continue to execute our strategic objectives and pursue future growth opportunities.”
