William O’Connell joined Investcorp Credit Management from BCIMC (British Columbia Investment Management Company), where he was a Portfolio Manager responsible for high yield investments and led the creation of their credit opportunities strategy. Prior to BCIMC, he was a investment professional at Intermediate Capital Group, where he was the first hire of the US credit team. He led coverage of Healthcare, Transportation, Technology, Media, Telecom, Gaming/Lodging, Leisure and Building Products sectors, and was responsible for analyzing liquid credit, private credit and private equity investments.

Previously, William was an investment professional at Trimaran Advisors, where he focused on analyzing liquid credit. Prior to that, he worked on the investment team at Black Diamond Capital Management, responsible for originating and managing performing and distressed credit and private equity investment opportunities. His sector coverage included Healthcare, TMT, Real Estate, Transportation and Business Services.

William holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
