Tarek AlMahjoub joined Investcorp in 2008 and is currently Head of UAE and Oman. Tarek joined from Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai, where he held the position of Director of client relationships, and is currently a Partner of Investcorp Private Wealth. Prior to that, he worked in Dubai as relationship manager in corporate banking at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait. He was also previously relationship manager in corporate banking at National Bank of Fujairah and account manager in the commercial banking group of MashreqBank, both of which were based in Dubai.

Tarek holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Garyounis in Libya and an MBA in International Management from the European University of Geneva in Switzerland.
