Andrew Muns joined Investcorp in 2019 as part of the acquisition of CM Investment Partners LLC. He is Managing Director, Head of Operations, and Investment Committee member of Investcorp Private Credit, and Chief Operating Officer of the BDC. Previously, Andrew served as a Senior Credit Analyst and Investment Committee Member within Investcorp’s Private Credit Team. His career in leveraged finance began in 2002 as an Analyst at Bank of America where he advised the firms’ proprietary secondary trading group and interfaced with institutional investors through his coverage of distressed assets across multiple industry verticals.

Andrew subsequently worked as a Senior Investment Analyst with Icahn Associates, the manager of Carl Icahn’s activist hedge fund, and later as a Managing Director with Sabretooth Capital, a global multi-strategy hedge fund. He also focused on illiquid credit for over a decade while working at Cantor Fitzgerald and then Stifel Financial.

Andrew holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Mathematics from Northwestern University. Prior to attending Columbia, he taught math in the Central African Republic with the US Peace Corps and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an IT Consultant.
