Neil Rickard is Global Co-Head of Liquid Credit, Head of ICM Europe, and Chief Investment Officer for ICM EU. He also serves on ICM’s European Investment Committees and is set to become Chair. Neil joined the business in 2005 at Mizuho Corporate Bank before moving to Mizuho Investment Management, where he oversaw all credit processes. In 2011, Mizuho Investment Management became part of ICM Europe through 3i Debt Management’s acquisition.

With 20+ years of experience in leveraged finance, Neil has led credit research, managed the Middle Market Fund, and built strong relationships across Private Equity and Capital Markets. Prior to Mizuho, he held credit analyst roles at Ahli United Bank, GE Capital, and Wachovia.

Neil is a qualified accountant and holds a BSc in Management and Chemical Sciences and an MSc in International Business from UMIST.
