Gaurav Sharma joined Investcorp in 2015 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a member of the Private Equity and Principal Investments group.​

Previously, Gaurav was a member of the investment team at Metalmark Capital in New York. Prior to that, he was with the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. ​

He currently serves on the board of directors of Fortune International and Health Plus Management.

He holds a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.​
