Anshuman joined Investcorp in 2019 following the acquisition of IDFC Alternatives, bringing over 26 years of experience in investing, management consulting, and investment banking. Before joining Investcorp, he served as the Head of Private Equity at IIFL Wealth & Asset Managers, where he managed assets totaling $3 billion. Prior to that, he worked in private equity at BanyanTree, Standard Chartered Private Equity, and Baer Capital. He began his career in management consulting with BCG and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). His current and previous board positions include Canpac, Citykart, Nephroplus, InCred, SK Finance, Miko, Bikaji Foods, and SmartExpress.

Anshuman holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Nehru Scholar, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi. He is also a CFA charterholder.
