Agnel Sugumar heads Structured Investments at Investcorp Credit Management, specializing in investments across US and European CLO tranches as well as other structured products. He is also responsible for US CLO issuance and co-leads global CLO origination activities for Investcorp Credit Management.

Agnel joined Investcorp in 2020 as a director. Previously, he was a Director at LibreMax Capital LLC, specializing in structured credit investments like CLO tranches, warehouses, and Credit Risk Transfer transactions. He also managed capital markets for Trimaran Advisors’ CLO platform and handled GP investments and strategic initiatives. Before LibreMax, Agnel worked at J.C. Flowers & Co, focusing on structured products and private equity in financial services. Agnel has more than 16 years of experience focused on investments in structured products and equity investments in the financial services sector. Prior to JC Flowers, Mr. Sugumar held roles at Mead Park Management LLC and Bridger Commercial Funding.

Agnel earned a B.B.A. in finance and investments from Baruch College in 2009 and a CFA® Charterholder since September 2014.
