Daniel Gagliardo joined Investcorp Credit Management in July 2022 as a Senior Analyst, providing coverage of the Power, Energy, Industrial and Services sectors. Dan joined from HPS Investment Partners after twelve years as a Managing Director and Senior Credit Analyst, focused on investing in leveraged loans. Prior to HPS, he was a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst covering leveraged loans at Stanfield Capital Partners. He was also a Senior High Yield Research Analyst at Oppenheimer Funds, Inc., and a Corporate Bond Credit Analyst at Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management.

Dan also held the position of Assistant Vice President in GE Capital’s Merchant Banking Group, where he was responsible for structuring, underwriting and documenting leveraged loan transactions, primarily for private equity clients. He began his career in the Investment Banking department of Salomon Brothers Inc.

Dan received an M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Business Economics from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, and an A.B. in Business Economics from Brown University.
