Svein Floden is an Operating Partner at Investcorp’s Strategic Capital Group (SCG), based in New York. He helps design, structure, and implement innovative product and distribution strategies for SCG and its General Partners (GPs), with a particular focus on expanding access through wealth management and insurance channels. Svein also contributes to broader strategic initiatives around marketing, branding, and GP enablement.

Previously, Svein was Head of Intermediary Distribution at BNY affiliate Insight Investment, where he was responsible for the development and distribution of alternative, fixed income, and retirement offerings across intermediary channels in the Americas. His work included the structuring and positioning of fund vehicles tailored to private wealth and retirement markets.

Earlier in his career, Svein held several senior roles within Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management, spanning product development, product management, manager research, and business development. Over his tenure, he supported the design, structuring, and expansion of alternative investment solutions for UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional clients—ultimately serving as Head of Hedge Fund Distribution for the Americas.

He holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Maryland (Smith School) and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University (Kellogg).
