    Dr Ann-Kristin Achleitner

    Dr Achleitner is currently the Scientific Co-Director at the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies and Chair of Entrepreneurial Finance at the Technical University of Munich. Prior to this, she was a Professor of banking and finance at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, having completed her undergraduate and doctoral studies in both economics and law and then her postdoctoral teaching qualification at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
    With several awards for both research and teaching, including the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2014, Dr Achleitner's counsel is highly regarded across both the public and private sector.
    Dr Achleitner is a member of the supervisory boards of Deutsche Börse AG, Linde AG, Muenchener Rueckversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG and serves on the board of directors of ENGIE SA. She also is a member of the Economic Advisory Council of the French Embassy in Berlin.

    Chief Economic Advisor at Allianz and member of its International Executive Committee. In 1983, he took a position at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C. where he rose to become Deputy Director. He was appointed CEO and President of Harvard Management Company. He is currently a member of the Harvard Global Advisory Council. He returned to PIMCO in December 2007 as CEO and co-CIO. In 2012, President Obama announced the appointment of El-Erian as the chair of the president's Global Development Council. Dr El-Erian has served on the Board of Trustee of several educational institutions, including Pegasus, St. Margaret School, Cambridge in America and KAUST. He co-chairs the capital campaign for Cambridge University and its Colleges.

    Served as a British Member of Parliament for more than three decades. He has held a number of senior governmental leadership roles, most notably serving as Secretary of State for Defense from 2014 – 2017. In this role he had overall responsibility for the British armed forces and managed a £ 35 billion annual budget. Sir Michael has also served as Schools Minister under both Margaret Thatcher and John Major and Business and Energy Minister under David Cameron.

    Dr. Wolfgang Ischinger

    Ambassador Ischinger is a German career diplomat. He has been Chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) since 2008 and teaches at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He advises the private sector, governments, and international organizations on strategic issues. He has published widely on foreign and security policy.

    From 2006 to 2008, he was the Federal Republic of Germany's Ambassador in London and from 2001 to 2006 in Washington, DC. He served as Deputy Foreign Minister (State Secretary) of Germany from 1998 to 2001.
    In 2007, he represented the European Union in the Troika negotiations on the future of Kosovo. In 2014, he served as the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-In-Office in the Ukraine crisis. In 2015, he chaired the OSCE "Eminent Persons Panel on European Security", mandated to offer recommendations on how to build a more resilient European security architecture.
    From 2008 to 2014, he was also Global Head of Government Relations at Allianz SE, Munich.

    A lawyer by profession, specializing in international and European Union law, arbitration and mediation. She is the first woman to serve as the Foreign Affairs Minister of Spain. Since January 2013, she is member of the Advisory Board on Foreign Affairs and Security to President Van Rompuy.

    Heads India's premier housing finance company HDFC Ltd.
    He is the Non-Executive Chairman in India of Siemens Ltd, Glaxo Smithkline Pharmaceuticals Ltd and BAE Systems India (Services) Pvt Ltd. He is also on the boards of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Indian Hotels Company Ltd and Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL).
    Mr Parekh is on the international boards of DP World - UAE, Vedanta Resources plc and Fairfax Financial Holdings Corporation - Canada. He is on the Indian Advisory Boards of Coca Cola India, Boston Consultancy Group, Accenture India.

    He is also on the International Advisory Boards of Standard Life Asia, Nomura Holdings Inc, Lafarge International, Warburg Pincus LLC & GIC International.
