Mohammed Bin Mahfoodh Alardhi is the Executive Chairman of the global investment group, Investcorp, which operates out of New York, London, Riyadh, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Singapore. Mr. Alardhi was a Director on the Investcorp Board since 2008.
A retired Air Vice Marshal by profession, Mr. Alardhi joined the Royal Air Force (RAFO) of Oman in 1978, and was subsequently appointed as Chief of Omani Air Force. In 2000, he was awarded the "Order of Oman" by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said.
Mr. Alardhi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Military Science from Royal Air Force UK Staff College in Bracknell, England and a Masters in Public Policy from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University USA. He also graduated from the Royal Air Force Military Academy in Cranwell, UK, and the National Defence University in Washington D.C., USA.
Three months after taking up his role as Executive Chairman of Investcorp, Mr. Alardhi announced a new growth strategy aiming to more than double its Assets Under Management (AUM) over the medium term. A number of initiatives were communicated in relation to this plan, namely tapping into European Real Estate markets, establishing a global distribution platform and inorganic growth.
During the first year of his chairmanship, Investcorp strengthened its institutional shareholders base by agreeing to sell 20% of interest in the company to Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi based investment and development company.
Most recently, and under Mr. Alardhi’s mandate and new vision, the firm doubled its AUM to USD23 billion following its acquisition of 3i Debt Management Business.
Investcorp today specializes in offering multi-product alternative investments on a global scale. Its lines of business include Corporate Investment (investments in unquoted corporate entities), Alternative Investment Solutions (previously known as Hedge Funds), Real Estate and Credit Management.
Since Investcorp’s first deal in 1983, Investcorp’s brand has evolved from its home in the Gulf into a trusted and leading global provider and manager of alternative investment products. Investcorp’s journey began with many notable and high-profile acquisitions in corporate investments, including such luxury brands as Tiffany & Co., Saks Fifth Avenue, Gucci, Breguet and others, taking many of them mainstream and listing them on global stock exchanges. Its 400 staff is drawn from 38 nationalities.
Mr. Alardhi regularly speaks on international trade, the relationship between the Middle East and the West and the security of the Gulf.
He is also the author of three books: "Arabs Down Under”, "Pearls from Arabia" and “Arabs Unseen”.

Hazem Ben-Gacem is Investcorp's Co-Chief Executive Officer leading the firm's private equity activities in Europe, Middle East and Asia, its recently launched private banking operation globally, its distribution infrastructure and clients relations in the Gulf, MENA and Asia.
Hazem is also the Managing Partner of the Investcorp Technology Partners group of funds. Amongst others, Hazem sits on the Investcorp Group's Executive and Operating Committees.
Prior to his co-CEO appointment, Hazem led Investcorp's European private equity and Technology private equity teams, based out of London. During that period, Hazem was involved in over 30 of Investcorp’s private equity investments in Europe and the US. Prior to joining Investcorp in 1994, Hazem was a member of Credit Suisse First Boston's mergers and acquisitions team in New York.
In addition to his position with Investcorp, Hazem is currently the chairman of the board of the Italian luxury menswear Corneliani and the Danish luxury goods maker Georg Jensen, the vice chair of the Italian protective gear maker Dainese, and serves on the boards of the Swedish ski helmet maker POC, the British anti-counterfeit solution provider Opsec and the US digital information provider kgb Inc.
Hazem holds a bachelor degree with honours from Harvard University and is the founder of the Harvard Office in Tunisia, the first formal presence for Harvard University in the Arab world.
Hazem is currently a serving member of the national shooting team of Tunisia (50-meter rifle discipline), achieving a bronze medal in the 2017 African Shooting Championships. Under the request of the Tunisian Prime Minister, Hazem co-chaired the Tunisia 2020 International Donor Conference, held in Tunisia in 2016.

Rishi Kapoor is Investcorp’s Co-Chief Executive Officer, responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities across North America, Europe, India and the Middle East, covering Private Equity, Real Estate Investments, Credit Management and Absolute Return Investments. He chairs the Firm's Investment Committees across its different product lines, and is a member of the Group’s Executive Committee, Operating Committee and the Financial Risk Management Committee.
Rishi joined Investcorp from Citigroup in 1992, and has held several senior management positions at the Firm prior to becoming Co-Chief Executive Officer, including his role as Chief Financial Officer of Investcorp from 2003 to 2015.
Rishi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), and a Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Rishi is a member of Duke University’s regional advisory board for the Middle East. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for National Bank of Bahrain, Gulf Air Group, Bahrain Airport Company and Gulf Aviation Academy. In 2018, Forbes Middle East recognized Rishi as a top Indian leader in the Arab world.

Ramzi T. AbdelJaber is Investcorp’s Chief Administrative Officer, which sees him lead a range of functions including Corporate Development, Administration / Infrastructure, Human Resources, Executive Compensation and Technology. He is a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee and chairs the Internal Audit Council, Human Resources Council, and Technology Advisory Council.
He has more than twenty years of strategy, business building, and senior management experience, with a particular focus on the financial services sector.
Ramzi joined Investcorp in 2004. During his time at the Firm, Ramzi has held a number of leadership positions including Head of Business Development worldwide and Chief of Staff for the Placement and Relationship Management (PRM) function.
Prior to joining Investcorp, Ramzi was a consultant with McKinsey & Co.’s Silicon Valley Office in Palo Alto, CA. He has also worked with Accenture (Andersen Consulting) in the Middle East.
In addition to his position at Investcorp, Ramzi serves on the Regional Board of Directors of INJAZ Al Arab. He is also the Chairman of Investcorp Investments LLC (incorporated in the Qatar Financial Center). Formerly, he served on the Management Committee of the GCC Board Directors Institute and was part of Jordan’s E-government taskforce appointed by HM King Abdullah II of Jordan. Ramzi is a former Young Presidents' Organization member.
Ramzi holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also holds a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems (with Honors and Highest Distinction) from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington.

Firas El Amine joined Investcorp in 2007 from Dubai Holding where he was the Corporate Communications Director. Prior to this, he worked with Alsalam Holding, Beirut as a Communications and Public Relations Director and with Impact & Echo, Kuwait as a Public Relations Director.
Firas holds a Masters degree in Political Science from Lebanese American University and a bachelors degree in Communication Arts from Beirut University College.

Dominic Elias joined Investcorp in 2010 as Director of Human Resources. Previously, he worked at the Blackstone Group and as a consultant at Towers Perrin where he focused on Alternative Investments client organizations. Dominic also worked at Morgan Stanley for 11 years, first in the Corporate Compensation group, before going on to manage the compensation function for the Investment Banking, Private Equity and Global Capital Markets Divisions.
Dominic holds a BSc from the University College of Swansea, UK and a Masters degree from Cornell University, New York.

Before he joined Investcorp in 2005, Sean Elliott was the Operations Director for Ernst and Young's Industrial and Commercial Office audit practice in London. Previously Sean worked at the international management consulting firm AT Kearney as Director of Operations and Recruiting Manager for Northern Europe.
Sean holds an MBA from The Open University Business School and a BSc in Zoology and Oceanography from the University of Wales, Swansea.

Jan Erik has more than 30 years of industry experience, the majority of which was in senior finance roles of financial services firms including SEB (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB), Skandia and Handelsbanken. Jan Erik most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SEB, a leading Nordic financial services group providing retail and merchant banking, wealth management, and life insurance services to its corporate and institutional clients across international markets.
Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Vattenfall, one of the largest producers of electricity and heat and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Skandia Group, a provider of products for savings and investments (subsequently acquired by Old Mutual plc). In these positions, his responsibilities included finance, treasury, investor relations, risk control and procurement functions. He started his career with Swedish bank, Handelsbanken, in their international finance and accounting operations.

Shaun Hill joined Investcorp in 2004 as Head of Internal Audit. Prior to joining Investcorp, Shaun was the Chief Internal Auditor at Union National Bank in Abu Dhabi. Before then, he was a senior audit manager with Riyadh Bank in Saudi Arabia and previously a member of the internal audit team at American Express in the UK. Shaun has also been a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche.
Shaun holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and German from Staffordshire University and an MBA from Warwick University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Shaun is also a CFA Charterholder.

Najib Rahal joined Investcorp in 2014 from Deloitte & Touche Middle East, where he was accountable for IT governance and strategy management. Prior to that, he worked with Accenture and Devoteam, both in France.
Najib holds a Bachelor in Computer and Communication Engineering from l'École supérieure d'ingénieurs en informatique et génie des télécommunications and Masters in Computer Networks both from Institut National de la Communication et de L'information.
